Titania, Queen of
the Fairies Protector of the Forest, Her
color is Green Member since 2002
Titania was not always a
fairy, and she was not always known as Titania. She was born as a
human called Hera (named after the queen of the gods). When Hera was
a child, she lived with her grandmother in a small cottage in the
forest. Her grandmother always warned her against the fairies of the
forest, but a dancing colorful light of Diana, Queen of the Fairies,
soon lured her. The queen grew fond of Hera and they would meet
every night to dance in the moonlight. Diana finally decided to take
Hera into her realm and turned her into the Green fairy because of
her name (Hera was the Queen of the Gods and she ruled earth,
therefore she was "mother earth"). She renamed the child to Titania,
to start her new life as an immortal.
Time went by and Diana and Titania became close and ruled the
kingdom together, until one day Kind Obrey returned from war. He
also became very fond of Titania, and wanted to take her as his new
bride. Diana was becoming old and could not birth any sons to
continue his line. However, he needed to get rid of Diana first, so
he turned her into a Fern Tree. Titania knew what had happened, but
was forced to marry the King Obrey but vowed to seek revenge on her
companion, Diana.
Time passed and Titania became very lonely and bored with Obrey,
and there were no new plans for the dethroning of Obrey. He had been
off to his brother's Kingdom arguing over the position of his
nephew, Oberon. Obrey needed to find a successor before he was to
pass on the kingdom. Titania would go with his elderly King to visit
his brother's kingdom and she became dear friends with Oberon. They
would write to each other every day, and decided that it was time
for Obrey to end his career as King. They grew supporters from both
of their kingdoms and 100 years later, Obrey's crown as taken by
Oberon.
Because Titania was born a human, she would go back and disguise
herself to visit her home. There, she met a human named Tamlin and
they became friends. Titania enjoyed her visits because she was able
to experience the human world in which she left as a very young
child. Tamlin and her feel in love, but when he asked her to run
away with him, she decided not to because she loved her king Oberon
and also her subjects. However, she was pregnant of Tamlin and even
though she loved him dearly, she had to end their romance, and never
return to the village. She had the half human, half fairy and had
her counselor take him away.
Titania chose to forget about her son and continued on to rule as
a great Queen. Years later she heard a rumor that her son was alive
but in trouble. Titania went around to different elders and asked if
they knew of anyone that could help her locate the child, now,
adult. Finally, she heard of a fairy named Thimble that knew how to
track down children. Titania was able to track Thimble down, and
asked her to help her find her missing son. Thimble agreed to help
Titania, with the understanding that she would work with her, for
the rest of her reign. Titania agreed and made Thimble her Chief
Advisor.
Years later, she discovered that her son, Tim Hunter, was alive
and but was taken by a group that painted their skin with black and
white stripes. Titania quickly returned to her small Village to find
that Tamlin had become very weak from the heart she had broken. She
told him of the news, and he went to save their son, but died in the
battle. Tim is still captured and Titania has made yet another vow
to save the one she loves.
